Here in school there's no BM so it's pretty simple work.
Maths is alright, english is better since there's no essays all the time like back home...
Science is... portfolio-filled.
S&E is boring...
Like geography over and over for the whole year...
Then is the selective subjects (where you choose what you want to do)
Which are loads of fun!
I was asked which subject I DON'T get an A in...
Which is pretty hard to answer... :)
(I said sport since I can't stand sport)
But it's awesome since I can actually get A's here!

Makes me feel wayyyy better.
But if I make a slight mistake...
I go completely insane.
Like when I missed perfection by 1/2 a mark in maths the science...
Sad...

1 Month To Go...

I only have 1 month in this school...
And I have to go for my Perth Modern orientation day on the 30th November.
Which is good because I have an Italian test on that day!

Haha but the orientation is for so long...
But maybe if it's over early I can stop by the school and make fun of my classmates.
Haha.
School ends on... 17th December?
Dunno...
Nick is having his year 11 exams now...
Till next Wednesday.
Then he doesn't even need to come to school anymore...
Lucky.
Then there won't be any year 11's and 12's (form 4 and 5) in the school anymore.
Its already empty enough.
There's definitely less than BU4 students.

Malaysia

I was thinking...
How on earth am I going to survive in Malaysian weather??
Here I find it hot at 25C.
Back home it's over 30C.
So...
Solution so far: Hang at 1U the whole day.
That's the only solution I have so far...
January 18th's the day...
So how am I to survive??

Last Term

It's the last term of school...
Less than 9 weeks to go...
(We finish school in December but return to school in February)
Nick has been using my camera a lot lately...
His friend slept over at our house a few days ago...
So my camera ran out of batteries with them messing around with it...
I'm soooo sleepy...

I wish it would be night for the whole day, everyday.
Then it wouldn't be so hot during sport...
With the sun shining and burning your head...
It's getting much hotter now since its spring...
So I rather stay at home all day.

Nick was complaining that while he is studying for SPM next year, I'm going to raves, Italian dinners, eating pizzas during class and being able to do nothing while my photography teacher shops online.
Yes it does sound unfair right?

Holidays!

Well the holidays are over...
Today is the parent teacher interview day except we study for 2 periods then go home then come back...
Leave at 11 coming back at 12 and then 2 because of Nick...
We have to give the teachers we wanna meet a piece of papar to sign then they would give us the time to see them.
Anyway during the holidays I watched Transformers 2!
Then I also went to McD for the first time since I started living here...
(strange I know)
And I went to the Perth Mint and got a free coin stamped with the logo...
Nothing else happened I guess...
Oh yea!
My cousins are coming over in August!
That means they would be bringing my camera!
Because my mum asked them to buy it for me from Malaysia since it's cheaper then they would bring it here.
Yay!
Can't wait!
I'll be sure to take loads of pics to upload!

Outward Bound School...

I've decided that since I really have nothing better to say to you guys, I'd talk about the longest camp I've ever been to.

Okay so far I've been to a few different camps which are:

*Long time ago when I was young (cannot remember when) me and Nick went to this Christian camp (even though I'm Buddhist! My mum's friend told us and they are Christian) with my mum's friend's children who are about the same age as me and Nick.

*Standard 6 camp to the science centre.

*Another standard 6 camp at school.

*Krs kem pertaulihan.

And finally...

*Outward Bound School!

Anyway this camp was 10 days long at Lumut. Around December before I left.

Me and Nick went after we got introduced to this camp by mum's friends whose kids are also around the same age (2 girls: 13 & 16). Costs: RM1000 per person!!!

Anyway we got to sleep in this building on a bed with a fan and lights.

We did things like kayaking, jungle trekking, rock climbing (on those REAL rocks in the jungle), repelling off the rock climbing rocks (you know those movies where those people repel off the buildings from the top down?), tali tamali (yup seriously and it rocked to already know about it ^^) and other stuff like that.

So when we got there we were like "This isn't that bad... at least we have a bed and a fan!" but then... we found out about the fact that we were gonna be dumped in the jungle alone (weel your friends are nearby but you can't see them) and we were expected to last for a whole day and night.

We only saw each other during eating times meaning we had to remember how to get to the eating place in the everywhere-looks-the-same jungle...

So everyday at the "school" we were wondering when our 'solo camp' was cause were weren't told when.

We did stuff like kayaking in the sea which was right outside the "school" and were thought tali temali.

Then we took a boat to some island which is at Lumut (is it Penang?? Forgot already...) and had to camp there for 3 days!

We had to carry 3 days worth of food and had to collect firewood to light a fire to cook our food...

All girls sleep in tents together and boys seperate tents.

Our 'tent' was just string to string from 2 trees with tent sheets on the floor and over our heads.

Monkeys were all over the place and I rather not talk about what they did...

We went jungle trekking and its so not fun!

Leeches and mosquitoes and ticks and ugh!

So annoying la...

Yes leeches that suck your blood leeches...

Grossssssss...

When it was finally over we went back and finally had a shower (the shower there was just a big bucket with water, a small pail and no light. Not to mention infested with snails!).

Then we did solo camping!

Its so boring!

You pitch your own tent and sit there killing mosquitoes to past time (there's a LOT of them).

And at night you had to face ants and mosquitoes coming at you.

I wore my jacket just to stop them sucking my blood even if it was so freakishly HOT!!!

I was near 3 of my friends so when the'teachers weren't around we snuck over and talked.

We also tried, TRIED, to light a fire.

You can guess it didn't work...

Then monkeys (dumb monkeys) came and went through our stuff...

When it was finally over we went back and had to practise for barbeque night which was the last night of camp.

Had to do a performance based on your experience (ours was about monkeys...).

Our parents were alloed to come watch but we still had to spend one more night there...

Then HOME!!!

I tell you that McDonalds McFlurry has NEVER EVER tasted so GOOD!

And the air-cond was drop dead heavenly!

I so won't complain about anything that's cold anymore...

But after that camp, me and Nick can't stand eating cold food...

Lol everything at camp was served cold...

This must be the longest post ever...

Anyway times running out for computing class so see ya!

I so want a McFlurry right now...

Ok keep my mind off that...
Hmm...
I'm going for dinner tonight with my Italian class becuase the Italian exchange students are here so we are welcoming them.
Actually we were supposed to "adopt" an Italian student but since there are 5 of us we couldn't...
You see, here we aren't allowed to drive with more than 5 people in the car as there is only 5 seatbelts.
(Well, unless you get a bigger car with more seatbelts but why would you do that for them when you still have to give them a bed and food?)
So if we wre to adopt a student, one of us would have to stone at home all day alone while we go out.
So ya...
Anyway the dinner cost $15 and I get:
*A plate of pasta
*A drink
*Gelato!
Yum right??
Haha so I have to run straight to the toilet after school, change, run all the way to the bus stop, give my parents my bag in exchange for my other smaller bag then run to the opposite block and walk to my friend's house with her.
She would send me to the dinner along with my other friends.
Geez so tiring...
Anyway congratulations to my friends sister who had just given birth!
Don't know if it's a boy or girl though...

Perth Modern

That has just earned me the camera!!!

I totally can't wait!
My mum emailed her friend back home to try to get one for me since they stopped selling it here.

But (why is there always a 'but'??) there might be those annoying useless teachers which I can't stand there...
Still at least I would get to see 1u again...

Hard Test

Yer the test was so hard!!!!!!
Here are the papers I had to do:

-English: 40 questions 40 minutes.
-Maths and science: 30 questions 40 minutes
-Writing an essay: one essay 25 minutes
-IQ test: 60 questions 20 minutes!

Crazy right??
The IQ test was like they give you a pattern sequence then you have to figure out what comes next...
So darn hard........
But at least iI got to skip school! ^^
I had to wake up at 7
Usually I only wake up at 8...
That night cannot sleep till 10 or 11 cause of my dumb brother keep asking my questions about techno shuffle music...
Some more he made me listen before I sleep....
After that really cannot sleep already...
We all camp out in my parent's room since my mum is back home in Malaysia....
Very fun on weekends when we make loads of noise at night... ^^

I really don't like the fact that my bed is so comfy and I have to wake up for school every morning and leave it...
It's so horrible!!

I do not, and I repeat DO NOT like waking up and leaving my nice, comfy, soft bed just to go to "study"...
It's a very dumb thing to do....
And I am always soooo sleepyyyyy.......
Still I don't know why I never sleep in the afternoon...
Why is that..?
Maybe its because I always have sommething else to do... (not homework)
Now its like 15C in the morning....
So cold...
But very nice.. ^^
But the school jacket was 50 Aussie (125 RM)
So expensive!!
Can't wear other types of jacket if not must get a dress pass and have to show your teacher whenever they ask and blah....
Anyway..
Hopefully this post is long enough to satisfy 'some' people who complain I don't write enough....

Autumn is here!

Okay autumn is finally here! haha
Its really cold now...
When I go to school in the morning at around 8.30a.m. its like 17C......
So cold!
And I'm so sad swimming is over already....
Even if it was freakin cold.... ^^
Anyway I'm typing this during my free time at school so...
Oh wait! Darn!
I forgot to finish my assignment!
Gotta go now!
Hopefully the unlimited broadband will arrive next week or so..
